A sick child!

a week ago Taylynn started not feeling good with a runny nose. She got warm every now and then I would give her Tylenol and it would go away. She had a hard time sleeping through the nights and I have had some long sleepless nights. So, I finally took her to the doctor thinking she might have a ear infection. The doctor said her ears look good, and lungs sound good. For now the only thing I can do is clean out her nose, put saline drops in her nose, and use a humidifier. How frustrating. Having a sick baby and there is nothing you can do but let time take its course is so frustrating.

Sewing !

My friend Shannon came over today and we made a dress for her little girl. It turned out cute even with all the frustration we had with it. For some reason the pattern wasn't working out for us so we had to make some things up. Sewing can be so frustrating, but I really want to learn how to sew better. So, tonight I decided to make a skirt for Taylynn for St. Patrick's Day. I made the pattern by myself. Here it is. I hope to improve my sewing skills!

NEW CALLING

Clint and I go a new calling three weeks ago. We have been asked to be in the Nursery. We are in there every other week, so the other week we can go to our own meetings. That makes it nice for all of us. Taylynn gets to start young at only 7 month's being in Nursery. So, when it is her time to really be in there she will know the ropes. It is a lot of fun and those little ones are so cute!

I have the smartest BABY ever!!!!

Okay so we have a pile of shoes by our door as you walk in. As you can tell Taylynn has shoes there too. Today she crawled over to the pile and grabbed two shoes. They were both her black church shoes. She is so smart she can already pick out matching shoes. What a genius I have on my hands.

ONE MORE THING!!!!

I want to start doing Photography. I am learning how to use photoshop Elements 7. Such an amazing program. I went to Logan and took a picture of the Temple. I made this for Grandparents Anniversary. If anyone in Utah near Ogden would like me to take pictures I am doing them for FREE! I need to get started somehow! I have done: Senior pictures, Engagement pictures, family pictures, nature pictures, and in March reception pictures, and a Wedding in August. If anyone can help me out with practicing I would appreciate it.

Learning, crafts, and Moore!

I am trying to be craft and learn new things to make.

Shannon, a friend, showed me how to makes bows. These are what I have made so far.

I made a holder to put the bows on to hang on the wall so they are displayed.
It is simple all it is is cardboard, a piece of fabric to put around cardboard, ribbon and Glue.
These are all bows that I have collected since I found out I was having a Girl. However, the homemade ones are so much cuter!

I made this Dress for Taylynn to wear for Valentines. They are really simple to make, and really cute on her.

Taylynn started Crawling on Monday, February 15,2010, and then a few days later is now trying and succeeds often pulling herself upon things. She decided she wanted to stand up and hang onto the table leg. She is growing up so fast. It is crazy how much they learn so quickly.

Grandparents 60th Anniversary!

Clint's Grandparents celebrated their 60th Anniversary on Feb. 14, 2010.
The day before there was a Anniversary party for them.

I created the center pieces for the tables. Good friends of
Clint's family, the Hooton's put them on the tables for us.

This is Taylynn and Daddy hanging out. I made the dress she is wearing.

I think this was such a beautiful arrangement of Roses.
(Very expensive flowers)

The food table had cookies, mini heart cakes, and cups of candies and nuts.
Also there was water, and yummy pink lemonade with strawberries.
I helped make the heart cakes, even Clint helped decorate.

Growing so fast.

On Monday I want into Taylynn's room and she got excited and crawled in her crib fast. I hadn't seen that before. She is Crawling now!!!! It is sooo cute. Now it is time to baby proof my house. It is great she can entertain herself now because she is more mobile. I will have to try and post the video i took of her crawling.

7 month's old

Wow time goes by so fast. Taylynn is already 7 month's old. She is changing so much and learning new things everyday.



Taylynn was so cute. I put her in the box and she started smiling for me and the camera! New things Tay is doing
1. getting on her hands and knees and taking like one or two steps, but mostly backwards.
2. Enjoying her food, and doing good at eating food I eat like bread, and she loves saltine crackers.
3. Trying to clap, looks so cute doing it
4. copies noises that I make to her.
5. Is over all a really happy baby, except when teething poor thing is starting to get her top teeth.She loves to take off her sock put it in her mouth. She kept posing for the camera. When Great Grandma watches her she loves them to push her around in the walker.Her little care she got for Christmas. She loves to sit on it and push bakwards. It seems she likes to go backwards.

All is well in our family. We have a cute, beautiful daughter growing up so fast and we are working and enjoying life.
