Draper Temple

We got to go to the Drape Temple Open house yesterday! We met at a church and by groups they take you into the chapel and show you a video about temples. Then they send you outside and eveyone gets on a bus. They then take you up to the temple. The houses around the temple where huge and cost lots and lots of money. They drop you off and you straight into tents that lead to the temple doors. It was so amazing inside, just like all temples are. The chandelier in the Celestrial room was so big and beautiful. The meaning behind all of the rooms just made me feel so good inside that I am able to go to the temple and do the work not only for myself, but for those who have past on. What a blessing that is! After the tour you go straight from the temple under tents to a church next door. There they had lots of picture of temples and Christ, and refreshments of water and cookies.

This is Clint and I on the bus

The only pictures I could get of outside the temple was from the bus so they are not the best pictures.

AT the end they had pictures of Christ at the church. I love this picture. Without Christ non of this work would be able to be possible.

SNOW

We got so much snow one day last week that when we got home from work we couldn't get into the driveway! I had to wait until Clint cleared the driveway so I could park. It was a lot of snow. We want to be done with the snow, so we hope we are, but it only being February we will most likely have more snow.

I wanted to make a snow angel, but I would of gotten all wet and I didn't want wet clothes.

Kaylee's Basketball Game

I Went to Kaylee's (my sister-in-law) basketball game on Friday. She made the team in school. They played her almost the whole 4th quarter. She does a great job at passing, and assisting other's. She knows how to work as a team. She was open many times, but they didn't seem to pass it to her much. She did a great job and they won the game 23-34. GO KAYLEE

Valentine's Day

For Valentine's my husband surprised me with a flowers, a stuffed dog, and the movie Madagascar 2. He also got steak and we had a yummy steak dinner. We didn't want to fight the crowd. I love steak and potatoes my favorite. I gave Clint some candy, tickets to go to Disney on Ice ( which is proble more a gift to a girl, but I really wanted to go, and he seemed to want to too, so I got them for a good price and gave them to him. I also gave him Some John Deer stuff. He loves his John Deer !

Didn't find out :(

I went to the Doctor today thinking I was going to find out what we were having- boy or Girl. Well, she wanted to do it next visit in 20 weeks! I was so sad. I told eveyone I was going to find out, but I have to wait 4 more weeks. Instead they were freaking out about my blood pressure. It was high, but I was nervous I am when I go to the doctor specially not knowing if everything is okay with the baby. Also, after I found out I couldn't find out what I was having for antoher 4 weeks, I was pretty upset. So blood pressure remained high. They sent me to the Labor and Delivery area so they could check it with a bigger arm cuff. They pretty much did the whole process as if they were checking me in. I am all registerd now at the hospital. Then I went back to the nurses and they found out I was only 16 weeks and they said we cannot do it until I am 20 weeks. They then put us in a room and we waited until the nurse from my doctor came down and checked it! My blood pressure finally went down to normal. The stress was gone! They were almost ready to admit me. I was fine, but they freak out and then that maked me freak out. However, everything is good, and I got to hear the heart beat of the baby for the first time. So in 4 weeks I will know what WE am having! EXCITING!!!!!!!

Update on Life

wow it has been a long time since I have updated my blog. Well, Clint and I are doing great! I am still working for Roy City and I am part time, but there for good. I am starting some programs for families in the city so that will be fun. I am loving my job. Thomas is coming home from his mission in one week and one day. I'm so excited to see him. He has been in South Africa for two years so it will be weird for him to be back in America. We are leaving from Utah and will be in Arizona on Nov. 9th, come see me at my parents house, or at church Thomas is speaking. That's a little update on life. Oh, if you want to order anything from creative memories let me know I need to put another order in within the next month. :)
