Where did 2013 GO!!!!!!

2013 in a NUTSHELL 

Wow I cannot believe it has been over a year since I posted.  My new years resolution for this year is to do better at blogging.  I feel it is a great journal that can be used later in life.

For New years Eve we had Tom and Camille Griego over and played games and eat Food.  We welcomed the new year with excitement and wondering of how 2013 would turn out.  Here is many events and fun times that occurred during the year:

MARCH  

On March 31, 2013 we celebrated.  A few days before Taylynn and I dyed eggs, and Taylynn loved it.  My moms Birthday and Easter all in one day.  The day before however, for Easter we went to the park and they had egg hunt there and sack races.  Then on Easter Grant, Thomas and Many came over and we did Easter egg hunt with them and my mom.  Then that night we did cake and ice cream. 

We had a fun celebration of Easter.

APRIL 

April 2013- Kaylee Moore left for a mission ( Clint's sister).  

She was called to the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania mission!  

She is an awesome missionary, and I knew she would be because of the strong

 testimony she already had and the great service she does, 

and example she is for everyone.   

MAY

In May 2013 Clint and I celebrated 5 year Anniversary.  Our Friends Scott and Mindy Saunders won a house boat in Lake Powell and invited us to attend.  It was so much fun.  We got to spend 4 days and 3 nights there.  Most of the time it was rainy and overcast, but was a fun time. Before we took off we put bathing suits and life jackets on all the kids.  We were going along on the water and all of a sudden Mindy yells "oh no Tay Tay!" and starts running out the front of the boat.  My heart stopped and the panic kicked in for sure.  To the left was a set of stairs.  They were very steep and metal steps and Taylynn fell right down them.  Do to her life jacket being on she didn't get that hurt except a good bruise on her leg.  That was such a great blessing that is all that happen.  She could of been hurt a lot worse.  There was a hot tub on top and Taylynn wanted to do nothing but be in it.  We had a lot of yummy food and laughter.  Trying to tie down the boat to shore was a challenge because of the wind, but it make it that much more adventurous.

On May 16th we went out to eat and Bowling for our Anniversary Outing

JUNE

In June I did my first Color 5k walk in Blanding, Utah.  I walked it in just a little over a hour.  Me and Taylynn had a lot of fun, but she didn't want to get the white color powder on her.  

Clint's family came and we went to Moab and did a jeep Trail called Metal Masher.

JUNE-AUGUST

This summer my friend Kaylynn and I put together a program called Summer in the Park.

We had about 20 kids and we did activities in the park two times a week for 3 hours both days.  Each day we had different theme's full of games, art projects, food, and fun.  It was a lot of work to put it together, but we had fun doing it.  This is all the stuff we got to do summer in the park. It filled up my front room.  

JULY

4th of July Celebration- in Monticello my family came and we celebrated it together.  We were in the parade and the after went to the park for some more fun. 

July 7, 2013 We celebrated Taylynn's 4th Birthday. Tasha, Alan, Allie, Kelly, Annabelle, and Triston all were there from Arizona. We had a Dora fiesta party at the park.  It was a rainy day, but we still had fun!

 That night to celebrate our Brother in-Laws birthday that would be 

on the 10th of July we went bowling as a family and eat pizza.  

Then we took a trip to see Clint's family.  We went to the Hoogle Zoo, and to the SLC temple grounds.

August 

The End of August Taylynn started going to Pre-school.  

I started a joy school with 4 other moms and a total of 5 children. 

The house she was going was just around the block and she was so 

excited she had to ride her bike there.  

In August for a week we have the County Fair.  There are kid crafts, games, food, rodeo, and lots of different entertainment including a concert.  This year was Phil Vassor and we got to go meet him and take a picture with him.  Tasha came for that week and we had a lot of fun attending the different events.

OCTOBER 

In October Clint got another job in Pleasant View, Utah at Admiral Beverage Company doing maintenance.  I had to much to do in Monticello, so I stayed and Clint left to start work.  He got a raise and full benefits so couldn't pass the job up.  So, for 6 weeks he lived with his brother and I lived in Monticello.

Halloween was fun for me and Taylynn.  We carved pumpkins, went to a city Carnival with food, games, prizes, and hay rides. and went trick or treating.  We went with Thomas, Mandy Grant, and Statton.

We went to Mandy's parents house in Blanding, Utah on Halloween night.  

Every year he does a pumpkin walk and serves homemade root beer.  

For Zumba we dressed up as Zombies.  Taylynn loved going to Zumba with me every Thursday night.  

Every Wednesday at 10:30 am we would go to the library.  They would read books and have a little craft for the kids to do.  For Halloween Taylynn dressed up as Belle and they decorated cookies. 

November 

Thanksgiving time Nov. 25, 2013 I moved up to Pleasant view.  We are currently living with Clint's brother until we find a home.  Finding a home is not an easy task and can be kind of stressful, but I feel when the right house comes along and we are suppose to get it, it will happen. 

November 26, 2013 I celebrated my 31st Birthday.  Before I left Monticello my mom had a fun birthday party for me.  Then after thanksgiving Clint's family took me out to eat.  It was fun week of celebration.  

Greg and Denise bought a huge nice hot tub and Taylynn loves it.  It is nice to be able to go outside in the snow and be warm!!  Tay would go out there everyday if we would let her.  

December 

Dec. 13, 2013 Clint celebrated his 29th Birthday.  I had a bunch of friends and Clint's family meet us at the restaurant Jeremiah's.  It is a very yummy place and for your birthday they give you this huge cinnamon roll. 

On December 21, 2013 Denise bought us Voicemale Concert tickets for the family.  It was a lot of fun!

Also, Denise bought us matching sweat shirts so we wore those to match. 

For Christmas we spent it with my family in Monticello.  We went to Durango, Co and rode the 

Polar express as a whole family.  There was 18 of us including 6 kids and 12 adults.

Then on Christmas Santa came (pics will be on here later), and then we went to my brother's house and opened some presents, and then on to my sisters house for our gift exchange and food.  We pick one family members name and that's who we get a gift for.  We had a very fun Christmas!

This year has been full of sadness, happiness, joy and Laughter.  

I am looking to what 2014 brings our family.

There are a lot of things that happen in a few month's. We are just staying busy with working and everyday life.

In October two good friends of ours got married, Tom and Camille Griego!!!! I got to help her with some of the planning and decoration of her wedding. I love to help plan weddings. We had a good time cutting down aspens for decorations, rolling silverware, and many other things. They are a great couple and will have a great life together.

For Halloweeen Taylynn was a cute little witch. She went outside and possed her own pictures. I don't have them on this computer to post, but I will try to post them later. We got to do some trick-o-treating with her little cousin Grant and then went to our Friend Janiece Atwood. We did a Haunted House at the Grist Mill for the second year in a row. It was so much fun to do, but a lot of work.

In November For Thanksgiving we went to Arizona for a few days. For Thanksgiving we celebrated it with my family. We were able to take family pics of our family. Last time we took pictures were Nov. 2008, so it wasa time to update. Here are some pictures of our photo shoot. The kids did really well taking the pictures. We celebrated Thanksgiving at a resort and we had lots of yummy food. Then that night we went shopping. We got lots of good stuff for great deals. Then on Friday after thanksgiving we had a little birthday party for me. Then saturday Tasha, Alan, Kelly, Nick, Thomas, Mandy, and Clint and I went on a group date. First we started at Claim Jumpers. Which I love going there. (It is where Clint asked my dad if he could marry me.) Then after that we went glow in the dark golfing. It was a lot of fun. I haven't done that in a long time.

In December it ws Clint's Birthday on Dec. 13, 2012 I had a birthday dinner get together. I got him a Soda Stream and we have used it many times. We had a good night with food, cake, and fun with friends and family.

Taylynn sat on Santas lap for the first time and didn't cry. She actually talked to him. She was so proud that she sat on his lap and never cried. We also built our first snowman and played in the snow. Tay loved it until she got to cold.

Then on Dec. 22, 2012 we went to Grandma and Grandpa Moore's house for Christmas. We suprised them by telling them we wouldn't be there until the 23rd. On the 23rd was Grandma Denise's Birthday. We went to Crystal's house and celebrated it as well as Clints, Kaylee's, Justin's, and my Birthday. Crystal made each of us our own cake. Then we went to the Ogden christmas house lights. Taylynn loved running from one little house to the next looking in the windows. She was so excited to be there. It was a great night!!!!!!!!! We slept at Grandma Greats house, we love staying there with her. She is a great person. On Christmas eve we went to Great Grandpa Moore's house. We had a little Christmas dinner with a few of the family memebers. Then went back to the house to get ready for Santa to come. Taylynn didn't even wake up until almost 8 am and loved seeing what santa got her and opening Presents. We had a really good Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!

These are pics from July of events and things that we have done, and below the pictures is more explination of the things we did.  It has been a  busy July.

I really need to do better at my updating my blog.  I mean to but then never get to it. With life and the pizza place is keeping us busy. 

Wow it is almost August and a lot has happen!

Well where to start?  In the end of march I found out I was pregnant, but didnt' want to tell anyone that I was until after first Trimester was over which would of  been in June.  On May 30th I started spotting and I got nervous.  I went to Doctor and they said just watch it and if you feel bad cramps or lots of  bleeding come in.  So I was just spotting until the night of May31, 2012  I started getting cramps really bad and was having what felt like labor pains.  I sat on towlet and a rush of blood came.  I knew right then something wasn't right.  I had to tell my mom what was going on (she didn't know I was pregant either) and she took me to hospital.  I had a miscarriage.  That is the worst feeling ever.  We had been trying for 8 month's fiinally I was pregnant and lost the baby.  It is one of those things that you don't understand until you go through it. 


On a more fun note.  July was filled of lots of events.  I had my little niece Annabelle stay with us for a few weeks.  Taylynn had so much fun with her.   The 4th of July was great we were in the parade in Blanding and then watched fireworks there.  It was a great day!!!  Taylynn was so tired by 10pm she fell asleep in the middle of the fireworks.  (Pics will be posted)


July 7th 2012   was Taylynn's 3rd Birthday I cannot believe I have a little 3 year old.  On July 6th Clint's family and us went to Lagoon.  It was so much fun and Tay loved riding all the rides.   Then on the 7th of July I had a birthday party with friends and family.  We did games, cake and icecream, and presents.  When they left I gave them each a little cartoon that they can fill up with all sorts of stuff like:  gum, bubbles, bouncy balls, and lots of different candies.  Everyone had a great time, and Tay loved her Birthday. 


July 21st we celebrated Pioneer Day in Monticello.  Tasha, Alan, Allie, Kelly, Nick, Triston and Annabelle was there to celebrate with us.  We had lots of fun with parade, food, swiming and hanging out. 


Also in July I had scouts come and stay at my house for a few days, so between them family and friends staying with us, we have had a busy July

9 month catch up on life.

Wow it has been a long time and many things have happened in the last 9 month's. I will have to jjust remember as many things as I can and be better at blogging. I actually ment to update but computer went down and lost all my pics and ability to get on computer for a time. I have a lab top now so I can update.

On July 7, 2011 Taylynn turned 2 years old. She is now 2 years and over 8 month's old and has learned so much and is so smart. She learns new things everyday and acts like she is a lot older then she is. She talks like a teenager sometimes, and makes us laugh all the time. Right now she loves to play with baby dolls and she can have 20 babies and take care of them all the same. She will be a great help if we ever have another baby. In October 2011 Taylynn was potty trained and only wet the bed once and hasn't since. She is an amazing child and don't know what I would do without her in my life. Having her is a great blessing and greatful for that.

On Nov. 17, 2011 My parents and I opened up a Pizza Delivery restraunt called Thatzza Pizza. It keeps us really busy and is doing well. We just rented a building and re did it into a nice kitchen where people can come order and we deliver. We hope to get busy enough where we will have to hire employees.

Everything is going great here in Monticello. Clint was working for a family business called San Juan Pest Management, but now is working for Sandstone tire company. He does a lot of towing and fixing semi and car tires. He has to travel all around the south east part of Utah but he loves it.

Another thing I am doing is start taking old fashion pictures for a Bed and Breakfast. it is a lot of fun and I love taking pictures and editng them. Ill have to post some of them later this week .

Well everything is going great and hopefully I can update my blog more often from now on.
